Shang Shung Institute to Offer Weekly Meditation Practice to the Public

Please arrive a little bit early to be seated by the beginning of the session.
Stay and visit afterward. SSI Bookstore opens at 9:30AM.

The practice of the Yoga of the calm state (Tib. ཞི་གནས་ zhi gnas) is an essential practice for living a harmonious, healthy and happy life. It brings into balance body, energy and mind.
A daily meditation practice can help to stabilize and clarify emotions and freshen life. The benefits of meditation have been scientifically established. Meditation can reduce stress and relieve physical, mental and emotional imbalances. Meditation can improve concentration, as well as improving the health of our cardiovascular and immune systems.

All are welcome to sit together in the practice of the yoga of the calm state. These practice sessions are open to people of all levels and capacities. No registration is required.
