Dear Dzogchen Community of America,
As you are aware, we are in the process of building the International Dzogchen Community (IDC) organization according to Rinpoche's vision of a Global Mandala. For this reason, the new International Gakyil is arranging worldwide meetings with all the Gars and Lings and with as many Dzogchen Community members and interested non-members to inform and answer questions.
Tsegyalgar East is very pleased to be hosting a meeting of the International Gakyil with connected Gars/Lings/DCA members and interested non-members. We are excited about being part of this process in collaboration with the Global Dzogchen Community and in the desire to bring Rinpoche's vision into practice of an International Dzogchen Community.
Please join us for our online or local meeting on Sunday, August 25, at 1:00 p.m. EDT. We have chosen that time to accommodate reasonable meeting hours for the members of the International Gakyil who will be joining us from other countries. If this is reaching a Gar/Ling address, please share with your mailing list.
If you can be present at our meeting, please join in person at the Schoolhouse, 18 Schoolhouse Rd., Conway, Massachusetts.
For those who cannot travel to Conway, Massachusetts, please join us online through WebEx. We have enough participant capacity to accommodate many, although it may be useful for discussion purposes to participate together at your Ling or group.
If you will be joining us online, please send your email address to Elisa Gonzalez at ejgon@hotmail.com . If you are participating online as a group, send her the email address of the person whose computer will be used. She will send you instructions for connecting with WebEx for the meeting, as well as send you the necessary invitation via email.
Documents about the changes that will be discussed at the meeting and an agenda for the meeting will be forthcoming soon or posted online for your access.
Also, after the meeting with the International Gakyil, we will be having a brief meeting for Tsegyalgar East to discuss the following:
1. Gakyil selection for Blue
2. Update on 2014 Festival Planning
3. Update on Khandroling Development (Gompa/Community House)
We hope you will join us for this important first step in meeting and working with the International Gakyil.
